With more than 20 years in ministry, Pastor Paul Enenche preaches the power of Jesus Christ as the loving, living, saving, healing son of God.

Dr Paul Enenche Biography

Born on the 4th of June 1968 to the family of Chief D.E. Enenche. The Paramount ruler of Orokam district in Ogbadibo local government area of Benue state. Not much is known about his father but history has it that he was raised by his mother, Mrs. Titi Enewa Enenche of blessed memory.

Young Paul grew up in a family business of transportation. He was a bus conductor, learned driver-passenger relationship and learned how to fix attachment in buses. According to Pastor Paul, “I would have been doing transportation if I was not in ministry.”

According to some accounts, he was always a sickly child and faced many challenges while growing up but they all served to prepare him for his future. Young Paul had his primary education at St Francis Primary school and his secondary education at Wesley Methodist high school both in Otukpo, Benue state.

After which he proceeded to the University of Jos where he studied Medicine and surgery. While on campus, he was a part of the Deeper life campus fellowship and went out on evangelism from time to time. He graduated with an MBBS from the university and his search for his life’s purpose began.

His birth and sickest child of his mother

Dr Paul Enenche is the fifth child of his mom. When his mother was pregnant with his pregnancy 6 weeks. She had bleeding that threatened the pregnancy, the pregnancy could not come down.

At nine months she went to deliver, the midwife and others said, “you’re not in labor. All these women every small thing, they will say they’re in labor”. My mother said this is pregnancy number 5, I have delivered 4 times and this is the 5th one, I don’t know labor again?

She got angry and went back home. She vowed never to go back to the hospital. That was how she delivered infant Paul on the bare floor at home in the compound.

Nobody, no midwife, she delivered the child on the ground at home, delivered the placenta herself, cut the cord before others came. Paul Enenche could said to be a miracle child. Born at home, at the risk of tetanus, the risk of meningitis, the risk of bronchial pneumonia, the risk of dypteria, septicemia!

The devil didn’t stop there. He afflicted him with sickness. According to Pastor Enenche, “there were sicker people, but I was the sickest. At home playing as a child, all of a sudden convulsion will start. The black of the eye, would roll inside, and the white is all that his mom will see.” She’ll come back home and meet this child… febrile convulsion.

Three days dry fast at 11 years

According to Paul Enenche, he fasted for 3 days dry for the first time at the age of 11 in the year of 1979. At that time, a young man who was with them in the same camp meeting like this.

The camp meeting was Wesley High School in Oturkpo, in Benue State. And in those days, if you fasted, you broke the fast exactly 12 midnight on the third day. So after the first day, they asked the young man how did the fast go? He replied “I forgot, I ate.”

The boy continued eating and wasted the three days fasting. According to Pastor Enenche, he heard that at a point, this young man could lay hands on somebody, and the person will vibrate on the bed of sickness and the power will lift him and land him on the floor. He had such level of primitive power in the kindergarten stage. Where will he be now if that power grew.

The sad reality is that this young guy is not even in the faith at all today, he is not at all. He has Children from different women.

Testimony of Pastor Enenche’s mother

The Nigerian Pastor Called Dr Paul Enenche

When his mother came to Dunamis one of the days, she sat in the healing and deliverance service, she watched all manner of signs and wonders. She looked at him and said no wonder the devil hated you so much. She said no wonder, he knew you were going to deal with him so terribly, so he wanted to stop you, she said no wonder! I understand now.”

Encounter with Jesus

Paul Enenche was raised up as a Methodist. But when he enrolled in the University of Jos to study Medicine and Surgery he joined Deeper Life Campus Fellowship. This was when he began to take his Christian work seriously.

Paul Enenche salvation experience is unique as he noted that he repented after series of inward convictions and questions about his eternity gripped him. He started really following the Lord hard while on campus with the Deeper Life Bible church, being the church he continued with.

Medicine and ministry

Paul Enenche has always been known to be a man with an unquenchable, unquestionable passion for God. As a medical student, Paul Enenche notes that whenever he hears of a patient’s death, he becomes miserable with thoughts about how he could have helped the patient to survive if he could.

Hence, evangelizing to patients while on ward rounds was something he always did. Praying for the sick and preaching to them while doing his job as a medical doctor. With numerous miracles attributed to those encounters.

Dr Paul Enenche Family

Dr Paul Enenche met his wife, Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche while on campus. After they graduated from medical school, the duo eventually fell in love and exchanged marital vows on April 16th, 1994.

Their marriage is blessed with four children namely Deborah, Daniella, Destiny, and Daniel Paul-Enenche. Becky Enenche has been very supportive of her husband with many drawing inspiration from their exemplary blissful marriage.

The Call into Ministry

Three (3) days to the end of the month of May, 1996, Paul Enenche (a young medical doctor) found himself stuck at a point where he had to make a decision that will determine the course of his life.

In his words, “I had to chose to relocate to London with my beautiful wife who is also a doctor, to go and step up my medical qualification in a prestigious university, to take two other attractive medical appointments within the country etc”.

In his communion with God, he was directed to put his medical certificate out of the way and go to the city of Abuja Nigeria to start a gospel outreach. Whose mission would be to heal, save, deliver, and restore human destiny and dignity in God’s name.

On getting home, his young wife who was nursing their few-months old first baby (Deborah, “Debowa”) had also sought the face of God alongside her husband with a six-to-six (6-6) fasting and prayer for same purpose.

The spirit of God told her exactly what He told Paul, confirming this call. Six months after the call (precisely November 1996), Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche and his wife Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche relocated to Abuja (Federal Capital Territory), Nigeria to establish his ministry.

That is the basis for the May convention of the church (The Destiny Recovery Convention). Characterized by Gods presence to set people free and help them through cross-roads of life.

His decision

More than 22 years ago, young Dr Paul Enenche quit his medical practice. Packed his bag, alongside his wife, Becky, who is also a medical doctor and our few months old baby, Deborah.

They left their 3bedroom flats in Jos and all the openings they had to work and further their education abroad, and moved into 1 room in Abuja, to answer God’s call to be fulltime preachers and teachers of the Word.

According to him, “people thought we were crazy for spending all those years in Medical school and dropping it for the Pulpit.”

Bishop David Oyedepo happened to come to Jos for a programme, exactly where Paul and his wife, Becky resided.
