What’s the African country that you would love to visit this year and why?
Mauritius. Because of their diverse cultures. I’ve read them up several times and I’ve watched some YouTube videos. I would love to visit the country some time next year probably during my work break.
Another country I also want to visit is Morocco. I’m so much in love with Morocco that once a week, I try to make sure I get updates on Morocco by going to YouTube and watching videos.
What’s the most underrated Nigerian food?
I don’t know if you’ve heard about ofe akwu before. I like ofe akwu and I think it’s not too good food for most people. It’s like a substitute for stew. The day I learned how to cook it, I cook it like every week.

How do you look after yourself in your free time?
Do I really have free time? That is one of the disadvantages of being a founder. We work every day. I do most of my job from home. So I work basically every day, every time. So I don’t really have a mapped time that I need to work.
Throughout the week, I’ve been working throughout the night. I only sleep two hours in the morning, then I continue working, or I go out to do one or two things.
So I don’t really sleep that much, which is very bad. In my free hours, maybe times that I just set aside to take a rest, I watch movies. I think mostly American movies or seasonal movies.
What has been the most humbling moment in your journey as an entrepreneur?
There are lots of humbling moments in my life. Before I started Shoptreo, I was into some businesses and I was successful at them until I was defrauded. I was up there and before I knew what was going on, I was down. So those experiences have really humbled me.
What’s one thing that you would love people to know about you?
I’m an easy-going person and I’m easy to talk to. But I also have a bad habit. I can be very busy, to an extent that you might give me a call or message me on WhatsApp. And I might not be able to reply for some days. That doesn’t mean that I ignored you or your message. I am working to do better but I’m very easy to talk to at the same time I’m also busy. In my free time, I like to hang out with friends or chat with people.
