African stablecoin infrastructure company Yellow Card has appointed Ross Everett as its first Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as the company expands its global operations beyond Africa.
Everett joins Yellow Card after serving as Group Financial Controller at UK digital bank Monzo. He has also held senior roles at financial institutions including Deutsche Bank, Barclays, and KPMG.
In his new role, Everett will oversee Yellow Card’s global finance operations, including financial strategy, planning, reporting, treasury, capital management, and financial governance.
The appointment comes as Yellow Card continues to scale its stablecoin infrastructure platform, which provides services for banks, fintech companies, and multinational businesses. The company currently operates across more than 50 markets.
Yellow Card raised $33 million in Series C funding in October 2024, bringing its total equity financing to $85 million at the time. The company has also secured an additional $40 million in strategic funding to support expansion into Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
